About Lyr Nordic A dog company from the mountains.

Lyr Nordic was started in Hemsedal, Norway by dog owners who were tired of paw balm that didn't work in real life. The jars were sticky, impossible to open with gloves on, and always left at home when the paws cracked up in the mountains. The dogs licked most of it off before it could work, and most of it smelled more of perfume than of anything a dog should wear.

So we made a stick. Solid enough to live in a pocket, soft enough to melt against the skin, safe enough for the dog to lick. Fragrance-free, because a dog doesn't need to smell of vanilla.

LYR Paw Protecting Stick is the first product. If it's well received, more will follow: care for snout and coat, and gear for dogs that are outside all year. All developed and tested here in Hemsedal.

The name Lyr comes from Old Norse and means light. That's what we want a walk to be, even in January.
